Cool New Social Media Website Locally Launched

October 31, 2007

In today’s Wisconsin State Journal Neighborhood Section, there was a profile about a local entrepreneur who has just gone live with a social media website to allow neighbors to interact.

It’s call Neighborhood Crossing and looks pretty cool.

It seems very user friendly (so you won’t need your 12 year old to help set up your profile) and has some creative areas for folks to share ideas, plan events, etc…

I’ve created a group called “Central Madison” as a forum for those living in the central city to exchange information, discuss issues, etc….

Good luck to Jason Weaver, creator of this site!  Thanks for thinking of neighborhoods.
