Concerts on the Square Tonight

July 8, 2010

For those who are so used to the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra’s “Concerts on the Square” always being on Wednesday night—you have a chance to see them tonight. That’s right. Due to weather yesterday it was decided to postpone Concerts on the Square until tonight. So beginning at 7:00 p.m. the capitol square will ring with the sounds of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. Tonight’s theme is:

American Celebration

Guest Artist: Amanda Huddleston, soprano
Broadway singer Amanda Huddleston joins the WCO for a star spangled salute to America with rousing patriotic songs and some Bernstein and Gershwin for good measure. And of course, you’ll have a blast with crowd favorite, the 1812 Overture!

A definite not to be missed event!
